Saying What You Don’t Mean.

The other day I was listening to John Waite’s hit song from the 80’s “Missing You”. I love that song not just because of how well John Waite delivers it but how great it plays on words. I’ve always had a particular fondness for lyrics that say one thing while they clearly mean something else.

One great example of this was 10cc’s “I’m not in Love”. Both songs basically are telling the other person that they’re not in love with them or that they’re not missing them, yet we the listeners can clearly see that it’s not the case at all. They’re hiding their true feelings for that person with their pride.

Why I’m Blogging Now?

So the question was brought up by a friend “Why I wanted to start a Blog”, well the thing is I got into blogging completely different than how most people do. You see I first learned about blogging from listening to podcasts (most people find out about podcasting thru blogs).

I began podcasting back in August of 2005 with a fitness show called “A Better Day”. The idea was to do something that I would enjoy with the possibilities of making a nice income out of it. I started my show about health & fitness instead of about music because there were so many other music podcasts out already. Beside fitness is something I like too. Well after about 2 years, I got bored and I had made a whopping $200.00. So I pod-faded (that’s the term used when you stop producing new episodes).
